Joining Elders Bega in 2022 as a Salesperson and Marketing Specialist, Matthew is the driving force behind our social media presence and meticulously plans the execution of every property sale. Recently earning his Masters of Arts in Media and Communications from the University of New England Armidale, Matthew brings a fresh perspective to the industry, coupled with years of experience in media and marketing.

Originally hailing from Sydney and Gloucester (England), Matthew has seamlessly transitioned into local life in Bega, establishing strong family ties and making meaningful contributions to the community.

As an avid sports enthusiast, Matthew has been involved with Tathra Rugby League Football Club, where he introduced the concept of Ladies Day to honour the remarkable women in our lives. Also, he was the innovator of a club partnership with an English Rugby League Club, London Chargers, allowing a player exchange between England and Australia.

Beyond his professional achievements, Matthew is deeply involved in community initiatives, serving as a dedicated member of the Bega Show Society Committee pioneering the beloved Bega BBQ Smokeout Competition and helping with the marketing/social media advertisement of the show.

Playing an integral role in our team, Matthew’s expertise was recently recognised at the 2024 Elders NSW/ACT Awards, where he was nominated for Digital Presence of the Year and Marketing Excellence. Matthew’s dedication to excellence extends to his service to clients, having worked with esteemed brands such as MasterCard, Barbeques Galore, Fox Sports, Discovery Network, and Colliers International, ensuring their marketing implementations and brand awareness campaigns were executed with precision and impact.
