Rodney McDonald has been part of the Elders Bega team since 2010 and became Director and Owner of the business in 2011. As Licensee in Charge, Rod specialises in residential property and lifestyle acreages, combining local knowledge with strong leadership to deliver outstanding results for his clients and support the continued success of the Elders Bega team.
Throughout his real estate career, Rod has successfully sold properties ranging from vacant residential blocks to spectacular ocean-view lifestyle holdings. His consistent results have seen him recognised among the Top 100 Salespeople nationally within the Elders network. He is a multiple recipient of NSW/ACT Principal awards and has earned recognition as an Elders Elite Performer.
Known for his honesty, professionalism and approachable nature, Rod is committed to building long-term relationships with his clients, many of whom return to him when it is time to sell again. He has also played a significant role in raising the standard of real estate marketing across the Bega Valley, championing high-quality photography, compelling property descriptions and innovative digital marketing strategies.
Outside of real estate, Rod is passionate about giving back to the community. He serves as Vice President of the Bega Littleton Sister City Exchange, Secretary of the Bega Angledale Cricket Club and joined the Board of Sapphire Coast Community Aged Care Ltd in 2022. Rod also served as President of the Bega Valley Public School P&C for eight years before stepping down in 2023.
